Editors' Notes

The 2025 Audi A6 Allroad midsize luxury car mixes posh with practicality in its own particular way. Pricing starts at $71,795.

From townhouse to country getaway, the A6 Allroad is ideal for moving between the two. This is a prestigious luxury car with abundant tech and style, yet it’s capable of carrying more than its A6 sedan counterpart, thanks to a practical cargo area. The A6 Allroad is a wagon with a raised ride height, standard all-wheel drive (AWD), and SUV-like exterior details. Yet it drives more like a sophisticated sedan, thanks in part to its lower center of gravity.

This Audi fits into a specialized niche. And one that may not exist for much longer. The usual A6 is giving its name to a new all-electric midsize luxury sedan, the A6 e-tron, while the A7’s sleeker Sportback design doesn’t lend itself to a wagon-ish character. Like the smaller A4 Allroad, the A6 Allroad’s days are numbered.

The regular Audi A6 sedan is reviewed separately.
