Underwhelming

07/29/2024

Toyota has let faithful customers down. The car itself performs well, but the quality is severely lacking. The vehicle is plagued with rattles: the windows make wind noise and can’t be left partially open due to the risk of breaking, the doors rattle, the panoramic roof rattles, the center console rattles, and the roof panel rattles. Additionally, the driver’s seat squeaks louder than any other car I've owned. The transmission is clunky, and the throttle response is so delayed it feels like a safety hazard. On top of that, for $70k, you get a truck without app services unless you pay for a subscription, which feels like a blatant cash grab. I'm extremely disappointed with Toyota.

Great truck

09/21/2023

Love this truck! There are only a few complaints about it.. The seatbelt alarm for not putting your seatbelt on is SUPER annoying and agressive. And I get less MPG than I originally expected. Other than that, I love everything about this truck. I have but about 25,000 miles on it and haven't had any issues.

Great Refresh!

09/21/2022

Overall, I think the 2022 Tundra is a sleek redesign that was much needed! The truck rides smooth thanks to the coil spring suspension and it is a great daily driver. I knock a star off because although the twin turbo 3.5 L V6 has more power than the tried and true 5.7 V7 on paper.. it's not really that noticeable when driving. That would be okay.... if I were getting good gas mileage. However, I don't see the dividends at the gas pump. At best, on the Highway I will see 19/20 MPG. City however, is more like 14/15. I don't expect great gas mileage out of a full size pickup. But, I'd prefer to get 1-3 less MPG for a tested dependable engine that has some grit.
