The 2018 Ford Focus entered its final year of production without any changes. The standard engine is a four-cylinder making 160 horsepower, and powerplants with up to 252 horsepower are available. Ford also made an electric version of the Focus, but it is discussed separately. The EPA-estimated gas mileage ratings range from 30/40/34 mpg city/highway/combined to 19/26/22 mpg, depending on the powertrain. Ford sells this car as a sedan and a hatchback, and both versions seat five people. The 2018 Focus provides up to 43.9 cubic-feet of maximum cargo space.
