Handles well, comfortable, and love that MPGe.

Perfect car for the mission. We commute between 60 and 120 miles per day and have averaged 100 MPGe. We get 40-45 MPG on long trips and have a range of almost 600 miles. We are filling up every 3-4 weeks. Handles really well and is very comfortable to drive. The sound system works well and the clarity of the phone is outstanding. The interior is very nice and we feel the car is a good value. We are both very pleased with this car.

Best car on the planet- shameful to stop making it

Wednesday, April 24, 2019

This is my 3rd Energi and 4th Fusion hybrid - and it’s always been good but now it’s great. And the stupidest Ford decision in history is to cancel it. In white with the russet trim, it looks comparable and great next to an upscale Mercedes -see pic. The 7 years of refinement put it at near mechanical perfection- the PHEV system reduces my gas use to 1 gal per 120 miles, and the hybrid backup without a charge gets nearly 50mpg. With the tax incentives built in, the lease is a steal. With no marketing, and slated for cancellation, maybe it’s not selling but if Ford recommitted it could easily beat Camry in sales as it’s cooler and mechanically better in every way.

mpg

owned for 2 yrs. getting consistent avg of 86 mpg (ev+engine) driving about 60 miles per day. Interior comparable to a Lexus IS 250. EV acceleration is very quick. 15 miles of ev use per charge. Engine plus regen braking (no ev) gets me 43 mpg. Front of car always gives a good feeling to look at. Back of car is generic. Leather is high quality. Seats fold down to compensate for very little trunk space. 3 hrs to charge on 240v, 8 hrs on 110v. Radio computer was replaced under warranty in 2018. Bought as a manufacture return (lemon) in 2014 with 24k miles still under 3yr/36k b-to-b warranty for $18,300.00. Still happy with purchase and performance.
