2025 Acura ADX First Look
Acura gets small and pairs a new SUV to go with its entry-level Integra hatchback.

Up to this point, Acura has not offered a true entry-level crossover SUV; instead, it has positioned the Acura RDX as its most affordable, modestly sized model. That all changes for the 2025 model year with the announcement of the ADX, a vehicle that builds on the same platform used by the similarly sized Honda HR-V but improves on the performance and luxury of its non-premium sibling.

The Family Resemblance Is Strong
When looking at the 2025 Acura ADX, you'd be forgiven if you thought it resembled a shrunken MDX. There are a lot of visual similarities between Acura's flagship midsize SUV and the subcompact newcomer, and that's a good thing, given how handsome the MDX is and how successful its sales have been.
Designers included plenty of sharp creases and Acura-specific angles in the ADX's sheetmetal, and despite its entry-level status, the vehicle is actually within 1.6 inches of the overall length of the next-largest sport utility in the automaker's showroom, the RDX.

Fans of Acura's other recent foray into the small-vehicle segment, the Integra hatch, will be pleased to discover that the ADX's dashboard and controls are similar to those of its sibling. Cargo space measures up to 55.1 cubic-feet with the rear seats folded flat.
Three different ADX trims will be offered at launch: the base, the A-Spec, and the A-Spec with Advance Package, which includes upgraded Bang & Olufsen audio as well as parking sensors, a power tailgate, and a heated steering wheel.

A Familiar Turbocharged Engine Powers the ADX
The Integra's influence is also found under the hood of the ADX, which features a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. But unlike the Integra, the ADX offers all-wheel drive.
A continuously variable automatic transmission handles the gear-shifting duties for the SUV, and while horsepower and torque figures have yet to be released, it's likely they will be in the same ballpark as those of the Integra, which makes 200 horsepower and 192 pound-feet.

The 2025 Acura ADX Is Priced to Sell
The 2025 Acura ADX isn't just filling white space in the showroom — its price suggests the company aims to position it as an affordable luxury model and a potential stepping stone to the brand's larger and more expensive SUVs.
Acura
Although exact numbers have yet to be released, Acura says the ADX will start around the mid-$30,000 mark in its base trim. That puts it about $10,000 cheaper than the current most affordable Acura SUV, the RDX, and less expensive than rivals such as the Lexus UX and the Audi Q3.
All vehicle pricing includes MSRP plus destination charges (set at the time of publication), and will be rounded to the nearest thousand.
