2024 Cadillac Lyriq First Look: Tesla Rival Adds More Configurations
The Cadillac of EVs returns for 2024 with a host of improvements.

One year after its market launch, Cadillac is adjusting its 2024 Lyriq lineup to include additional trim levels along with improved safety tech and more available luxury features. The Lyriq adds a few tricks for its sophomore season.

2024 Cadillac Lyriq Lineup Expands to Include Tech and Sport Trims
After making its debut with a single Luxury trim, the Lyriq lineup is expanding by two for the 2024 model year.
A new Tech trim slots beneath the Lyriq Luxury and represents the entry point to the lineup for the 2024 model year. Standard features include a 33.0-inch infotainment screen, the Cadillac Smart System suite of safety and assistance tech, Google built-in, wireless phone charging, one-pedal driving, and 20-inch wheels.

The new-for-2024 Lyriq Sport builds on the Luxury trim's standard and available features with Obsidian chrome accents, a unique grille treatment with integrated illumination, and body-color door handles. The Lyriq Sport rolls on standard 20-inch wheels, with midnight-finished 22s available for an extra charge.
In addition to more trim options, 2024 Lyriq shoppers will also be able to select from an extended pallet of exterior colors.
Last year's Stellar Black Metallic paint option is joined by Argent Silver, Radiant Red Tintcoat, Celestial Metallic, Emerald Lake Metallic, Nimbus Metallic, Opulent Blue Metallic, and Crystal White Tricoat. Satin Steel Metallic has been discontinued for 2024.

2024 Cadillac Lyriq Gains Safety Tech and Optional Luxury Features
On the tech front, all Luxury and Sport trims receive a standard adaptive headlight system and intersection automated emergency braking as part of the Driver Assist Package; the latter is an option on the Lyriq Tech. All Lyriq models are 5GWi-Fi hotspot capable.
Newly available upgrades for Lyriq Luxury and Sport buyers include nappa leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, heated rear outboard seats, and a power-opening panoramic moonroof with an electric sunshade. Cadillac's Super Cruise hands-free driving system and an AKG Studio 19-speaker sound system can also be added to 2024 Lyriq Luxury and Sport models.

2024 Cadillac Lyriq Offers Optional Fast Charging and Up to 314 Miles of Range
The Lyriq's Ultium Platform carries over unchanged for 2024. A single-motor, rear-wheel-drive (RWD) setup is standard and delivers 340 horsepower. An optional twin-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system boosts output to 500 horsepower.
All 2024 Cadillac Lyriq models use a 102-kWh battery pack that provides up to 314 miles of range in RWD models and an estimated 307 miles of range with the optional AWD.

Cadillac Lyriq Pricing for 2024
Pricing for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq starts around $59,000 for the Tech trim, which is roughly a grand less than the EV's previous base price. The 2024 Lyriq Luxury carries an asking price of approximately $63,000, while the Lyriq Sport lists from about $63,000 as well. The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq is currently available at dealers nationwide.
